Protecting The Amazon Rainforest
Although the Amazon Rainforest may be facing a handful of problems that are being caused by humans, there is nothing like global warming which is doing an equal amount of damage as us. Global warming is a huge increase in temperature that is attributed by the greenhouse effect.
The Amazon has been affected really badly by global warming, it is said that in 2030 we would lose 55% of the Amazon to trends in livestock, logging expansion, agriculture, but also fires and droughts that have been severely recurring.
Losing more than half of the Amazon Rainforest would be a drastic loss for us, because it does produce 20% of the world's oxygen. If the climate does continue in the way it is, it could be a huge negative impact on the humans that may be living here. Living a lifestyle in the rainforest will be affected because they would need to deal with the drastic droughts as well as untamed fires. Fires can easily burn down their shelter even the supplies that they may have collected. With droughts, it will be hard for them to do anything really, because without any water, they can end up dehydrated which leads to weakness, no water to be able to clean, or wash anything.

This is a huge impact for people, yet again, what can really help is we, humans, stop what we are doing on our side of the plate. We are not doing anything much better than what global warming may be doing to the rainforest. Cutting down trees, which can cause dry land for more fire to start is not a positive thing. Humans have been given a gift from this rainforest, and all we care about is money that we are getting from destroying it. We should be more civilized and fight against the organizations that are trying to cut down more of the forest. Once it is gone, we can never get it back, if anything it can be a slower recovery. This needs to stop immediately because not only are the trees being endangered but as well as the animal and plant species in the rainforest. We should all come together, because if we do not, in decades we may never see the same creatures and plants that were here when we were younger. Lets make a difference now.
